Taizé
following my previous post, Taizé has been a time to bond with some friends turned family. a time to discover the region of Burgundy, France. the bonding of young people of the group grew tighter. meeting new people too. A time to relish the peace of mind and the reflectiveness that we sometimes lack in our lives... or an occasion to showcase our "photo mania" HAHAHAHA

Geneva
Once again stopping by home. Geneva has always been a place of youth and fun. A place where my true family is and its always nice to just go back and enjoy the wonderful Lake Leman and lovely people. now it's time for paul's family to enjoy it too.

Nyon
A friend of my aunt's were leaving for good and settling in Florida for their old days. So the member of the Association Philippine Internationale prepared a small get together and wish the new retraitée, Pinoy style... with lots of food, laughter and karaoke... I love these bunch of people...

Familia Justicia in flesh with Macattax in tow... galing ng combination and samahan mo pa ng humor ni kuya mike... naka! riot talaga. manigas na lang ang di marunong mag-tagalog. cute na cute ang mga chikitings kaya sila lang ang may pix sa akin... we're planning for part II pag balik ni justicia kaya abangan...

Nixiedoodle's birthday bash
Our LITTLE GIRL has turned 14 recently and kaya LITTLE kasi naman sobrang tangkad! hindi na nga nixie ang tawag ko eh kundi NIXIE!!! Anyway, of course the other youth slept over their house and it was a chaotic to the max! Eh pagsamahin mo ba naman ang halos 20 na kabataan... I really felt for Nanette! I think she had some more gray hairs that night because of the boisterous group! Well! bata pa kasi eh...

Fiesta ng Kabataang Pinoy and Living Rosary
After months of planning and coordinating, it was finally done! For the first time ever, all the different communities in the Archdiocese of Cologne was gathered in one place for one cause. To help the youth rediscover their spiritual life and experience a Pinoy Fiesta. The whole day was fully packed with different activities: Santacruzan, Living Rosary, Holy Mass, cultural programmes, games and the search for Little Miss Philippines 2005. The day was blessed with a sunny weather which was a first on a very rainy week and everyone had a smile on their faces. It was a very fulfilling day!

World Youth Day 2005
Since October, we have been preparing for this big event and big event it was! Our days were not comparable to the days of WYD 1995 in Manila but it had its own ups and downs that we've weathered the whole week through. But what was important for us was to experience it and share the dynamism of the event together with the other youth from all over the world. Filipinos were ofcourse also everywhere and it was great to cheer each other and dance on the street, shouting "Pilipinas! Pilipinas! Pilipinas!" or exchange jokes such as "Game knb!" and replying "Game na game na!" The Asian Youth Gathering which we helped organise was also an overwhelming experience as we discover our Asian brothers in one faith. And Marienfeld was also an experience for me. First time to sleep outdoors in a sleeping bag... felt like a worm in the morning lying in a warm cocoon! Ah! And Pope Benedict XVI was sweet! His German was peppered with the Bayerish accent and I prefer his French to his English. Then on his address, a magical moment, he was greeting us, the Filipino Youth! It was a heart stopping moment. We were so shocked and so delighted we could not help but scream in delight and missed half of his message. That made the whole week even more valuable to us! Despite the fact that later on, we would experience such a difficulty on our way back home.
